Senior QA Engineer

DigyCorp is seeking a talented QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our global dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript, experience with Cypress or Playwright, Cloud Testing and a demonstrated ability to write both manual and automated test scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts to validate product functionality and quality.

• Perform infrastructure testing and ensure the robustness of system architecture.

• Analyse server logs to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

• Test on Azure (apps, containers, serverless). Use preview/ephemeral envs and run smoke tests in dev/stage/prod.

• Test storage, queues, DBs, and functions end-to-end; watch logs/metrics/traces with alerts; run on cloud browser/device grids; validate IaC (Terraform/Bicep) and costs; gate A/B and feature flags.

• Use blue/green and canary deploys with quick rollback.

• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to maintain seamless integration processes.

• Utilize GitLab and GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows.

• Implement and execute end-to-end tests using Cypress or Playwright frameworks.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in JavaScript for both testing and scripting.

• Minimum 6+ years of professional work experience as a QA Automation Test Engineer on a Cloud Platform  

• Hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright automation tools.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure testing principles.

• Ability to read and analyse server logs to identify issues.

• Experience in GitLab and GitHub version control systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills :

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and system monitoring tools.
